Pour some awesomeness and the world will be awesomer. :) |
Not too long after waking up in bed when I was surprised with this.

And I was like —- @_@!
Freeze mode until it dawned on me that this is real. And I was totally giggling to my mom as I couldn’t contain my happiness. <3
It’s more than the gadget. It’s the thought that I am thought of by someone special (my ninang who now is residing in the US). What’s extra special is the thought of getting something back. I had this last year when Apple had just released itouch 4 (music = my life). After 5 or 6 months, sadly, I had to let it go for something that has to be given much higher priority. It was truly a sacrifice to let go of something that had kept me sane for a period of time.
I am not really a “gadgety” type of person. Some items I have are the ff:

HP Mini 1101 - something that is very useful in my chosen vocation. It’s not so pink, is it? :P

Portable Speaker (unbranded)
what helps me set my mood at home. :)

Nokia 2730c (my mom’s)
I use it in school just because I have a weak 3gs signal on my cubicle in the faculty room.
Nokia 3120 Classic (white)
Officially, the first ever cellphone I bought for myself. Usually, I get a hand down cellphone from my mom or whatever is free from her plan’s renewal. The only time I get a new phone is when the previous gets busted, or it’s taken away by unfortunate incidents (ex. snatching). I wouldn’t mind buying it a new case but not for now when I am just busy in school and I rarely use it. Looking at it - SCRATCHED, PUNCTURED, GASHED but still works perfectly fine and remains to be strong. :)

SONY DSC-W230.If my Nokia 3120c is my first ever phone I bought myself, this is the camera counterpart. I bought this the morning I was scheduled a flight to Boracay. I just couldn’t afford hitting such paradise without grabbing memories of it. :)
Sadly, the camera’s screen is busted but I still use it (it’s the same thing I used to take the pictures posted in this post). It can still capture photos, only that you can’t view through the screen. So how do I do it? Answer: “tantya” technique. :P

my guitar.
Does this even count as a gadget? LOL. But anyway, this is also what keeps me distracted from pressure and stress. This with my ipod, I can record songs and lose myself in an i-do-not-know-it-is-just-too-indescribably-wonderful world. :)
That’s all folks! :) I think I’ve talked too much. HAHAHA. I am just too happy right now. <3 Definitely, my new ipod is one of life’s sweet simple treats. <3 Lord, is this my reward for my little sacrifices way back? I CAN’T THANK YOU ENOUGH. You’re just awesome <3
